Emergency First Aid at Work
Who is this first aid training for?
Anyone who Works in a low risk environment.
Your training will be delivered by Sean, a qualified Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor and Paddlesports Instructor. With over 10 years experience in delivering First Aid Training, Sean is able to put this together with his own experience of working with National Governing Bodies, to provide First Aid training relevant to your needs. Sean also spent time as a First Responder with the Scottish Ambulance Service and also ran his own First Aid Events business covering rugby matches, running and cycle races and more.
What does this first aid training cover?
The course is 6hrs (1 day) and covers all the elements required by your First Aid Regulations. These include:
- Role and responsibilities of a First Aider
- Recording and reporting accidents/incidents
- Contents of a first aid kit
- Scene survey
- Conscious and Unconscious casualties
- Choking casualties
- Wounded and bleeding
- Clinical Shock
- Performing CPR and using an AED
- And so much more
You must be physically able to take part fully in the course. We will always try and make any reasonable adjustments where possible.
This course is 09:00-16:00 and is held in Linlithgow, West Lothian. Full details will be provided when booking.
Each successful participant will receive an e-certificate and an emergency first aid at work manual.
